Happy Tails
These ferrets have found wonderful forever homes with the help of Ferret Waystation. We are pleased that we could be of service to them and their new families. Each ferret that comes into our shelter touches our hearts, and we are grateful they have come through our doors. Through the adoption of these ferrets, we have the opportunity to meet new people and welcome them into the ferret community.

Kiko

Kiko was transferred to us from Town Lake Animal Center and has a very swollen vulva.  We believe she is adrenal but she does not yet have any hair loss.  She is approximately 3 years old and is a light silver ferret with a black nose.

Kiko is a sweet girl who loves to be held.  She is a bit fearful of other ferrets at first, but is accepting of them as long as they are not too rough.  She has been seen by our vet for an exam and vaccinations, as well as a melatonin implant and lurpon for the adrenal.

The adoption fee for Kiko is $40.  Anyone who applies to adopt Kiko must be knowledgeable about adrenal disease in ferrets. February 1, 2012, 8:45 pm

Antwone

Antwone was turned in as a stray.  We posted serveral ads but no one ever claimed this wonderful guy.  He is a dark eyed white ferret and is about 5 - 6 years old.

Antwone is a sweet boy but does not get along well with other ferrets.  In fact, he seems to be a bit afraid of them.  He would make a great companion for someone who is looking for a nice, calm ferret that isn't as wild as some of our younger ones.

He is neutered and descented and is up to date on his vaccinations.  The adoption fee for Antwone is $40.00February 1, 2012, 8:45 pm

JJ

Oh my goodness!  JJ is cute, cute, cute!  She is a 5 month old female champagne mitt.  JJ was surrendered to us by her owner who lives in an apartment that does not allow ferrets.

JJ is such a sweetheart, but because she is young she has lots of energy and loves to play.  She loves to chase jingle balls across the floor, and when she gets tired and is ready for a nap, she cuddles underneath her blanket.

JJ has been seen by our vet for a health check and is up to date on her vaccinations.  She is spayed and descented.  Her previous owner also had a few supplies and toys that will go with JJ to her new home.   The adoption fee for JJ is 85.00.

10/12/11  JJ has been adopted and has 5 new ferret brothers and sisters.

Twizler

Twizler was found as a stray and no one claimed him, so he is looking for his forever home.  He is approximately 1 year old and is a handsome dark sable.

Since Twizler is young, he is full of energy and loves to play.  He does nip a little when playing, but does not bite hard.  We've been working on his play manners and he's learning quickly.

Twizler has been seen by our vet and is up to date on his vaccinations.  He is neutered and descented.  His adoption fee is $75.00

11/7/11  Twizler has been adopted and is happily living with his new sister, Lilly.

Hannah

Isn't Hannah adorable?  She comes to us from Town Lake Animal Center where she was turned in as a stray.  No one claimed her so she is with us and is looking for her forever home.

Hannah is only about a year old, and is a beautiful dark sable with white toes.  She is one of the prettiest ferrets we've seen in a long time.  Since she is so young, she is very playful, but is also very sweet.  She doesn't seem to mind our two small dogs when they come into the ferret room for a visit.

She has been seen by our vet and is up to date on her vaccinations Hannah has been spayed and descented.  Her adoption fee is $75.00

11/22/11  Hannah has been adopted and will be joining a wonderful family in the Houston area.February 1, 2012, 8:45 pm

Suyra comes to us from Town Lake Animal Center where he was surrendered by his former owner.  He is about 3 years old and is an albino.

He has been seen by our vet for a health exam and is up to date on his vaccinations.  He is neutered and descented.  The adoption fee for Surya is $50.00
